Lax Out Cancer is an annual lacrosse fundraising event which recognizes local families who are battling cancer and raises money to help them fight. It is run completely by volunteers. Lax Out Cancer began in 2009 when the Shoreham Wading River lacrosse community raised money for a family of a local child battling cancer. This amazing fundraiser has become an annual event and every year it has attracted more attention, volunteers, and contributors.
