Anonymous Recipient’s Story

At 62 years young, this remarkable woman from the Shoreham–Wading River community embodies strength, resilience, and what it truly means to live with heart. Diagnosed in 2024 with colon, lung, and liver cancer, her journey has been marked not only by immense challenges, but by courage, grace, and an unwavering appreciation for life’s most meaningful moments.

Through it all, she has shown incredible strength – facing each day with quiet determination and a positive spirit that inspires those around her.

She finds joy in the things she loves most. A fan of football and lacrosse, she enjoys the excitement of the game, but what she treasures most is time spent with family and friends. For her, life is about connection, laughter, and being present with the people who matter most.

Her outlook on life is both simple and powerful:

“Don’t make plans… make memories.”

It’s a beautiful reminder to slow down, cherish the present, and hold tight to the moments that truly matter.

She is an inspiration to all who know her – a woman whose strength, perspective, and spirit encourage others to live fully, love deeply, and appreciate every single day.

We honor not just her fight, but the incredible way she continues to live her life. Sending our love, thoughts, and prayers.
